Indian filmfest to host ‘Killer Spider’

Iranian movie ‘Killer Spider’ has been scheduled to compete at the 2022 edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) in India.

Directed by Ebrahim Irajzad, the social crime flick narrates the story of a man who wants to eradicate corruption from the face of the world.

Mohsen Tanabandeh, Sareh Bayat, Shirin Yazdanbakhsh, Mahour Alvand and Javad Yahyavi are among the cast members of the flick.

‘Killer Spider’ gained its national premiere at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The movie has previously participated in the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Japan, and the 7th Iranian Film Festival Zurich in Switzerland.

The 13th edition of the BIFFes has different sections, including contemporary world cinema and Asian cinema competition.

According to the official website of the festival, “it will also host various sessions for the academic interactions / discourse on different aspects of Filmmaking & Film Appreciation, through Seminars, Workshops, Master classes etc.”.

The upcoming edition of the BIFFes will be held on March 3-10, 2022.
